Hello Friends, It's been a while since I've written, and I've been reflecting on some things I'd love to share with you. Many of you came into my world through yoga retreats and health coaching, where we explored the connections between creativity, personal growth, and well-being. Those ideas are still very much alive in my life, although the way I express them has evolved. Years ago, I determined that one of my purposes in this life was to bring more beauty into the world. That intention has taken many forms: through yoga, poetry, painting, the messages I choose to share, and even the way I carry myself through the world and interact with others. I believe that having a creative outlet and a sense of purpose are essential to our well-being. Creativity gives us room to explore, process our experiences, stay curious, and feel connected to something meaningful. It reminds us that we're not simply moving through life, but actively participating. Painting has been one of the most meaningful expressions of that purpose for me. Lately, I'm finding my voice through textured atmospheric abstraction, exploring layered surfaces and rich color to create work that invites people to pause, look more deeply, and feel something beyond words. I find myself drawing on ideas we explored through yoga—the third eye's inner vision and the throat chakra's creative expression—as I learn to trust my artistic vision and give it form. It feels like a new chapter rooted in something I've explored for years. And that brings me to some exciting news! Three of my paintings were accepted into Celebrate Art! 2026, a regional juried exhibition featuring artists from across five states. It's a meaningful milestone as I continue developing my work and sharing it with a wider audience. If you're in the Hendersonville area, you can see the paintings in person at Art Place Gallery until October 31st (730 Locust Street, Hendersonville, NC). I've included a photograph from the exhibition featuring me alongside the three accepted paintings. I also have a wall at Marquee in Asheville's River Arts District. It's been exciting for me to participate in the local arts scene here. It's been a catalyst for me to explore different aspects of myself, which I also believe is an important part of life here on Earth. I feel it's my obligation to develop myself, knowledge and skills, so that I can express whatever is attempting to come through me. Since making this conscious commitment to myself and my creator, this has shown up through yoga, motherhood, and now art. If you'd like to explore more of my recent work, you can visit my website at https://www.stephaniedelarose.com/category/atmospheric-artwork I'm also growing a new Instagram account dedicated to my fine art, separate from my personal account. Building an audience takes time, and I'd genuinely appreciate your support as I continue putting my work out into the world. If you're on Instagram, please follow me at @DelaRose.FineArt! I'd love to have you along for the journey as I share new paintings, studio experiments, and upcoming exhibitions. Every follow helps my work reach more people, and your support truly means a lot to me. And now, I'd love to hear about you! What's new in your world? Are you exploring something creative, embarking on a new chapter, discovering a passion, or simply enjoying what's unfolding in your life? Please hit reply and tell me what's happening with you. I read every single email I receive, and I genuinely love hearing from you. Thank you for being part of my journey and for the connections we've shared along the way. I'm grateful to be able to share this chapter with you, and I hope life is bringing you plenty of beauty, creativity, and goodness. With Love, |
